代表のジムカーナ日記（動画）/ CEO's Gymkhana Diary (Video)

1990年10月、代表・小林が、当時、カワサキが主催していた KAZEジムカーナの東京地区大会へ、ジムカーナ仲間 7名と一緒に遠征した時の動画で、車両は Z750GP、道中の楽しい雰囲気も収まっています。

This video was taken in October 1990 when our CEO, Kobayashi, traveled with seven fellow gymkhana enthusiasts to the Tokyo regional KAZE Gymkhana competition, which was sponsored by Kawasaki at the time. The bike they were riding was a Z750GP, and the video also captures the fun atmosphere along the way.



カワサキは、全国の販売店の支援も兼ねて、全国的にジムカーナ大会を主催していて、当然、本社工場のある明石市や大阪など関西圏でも年に数回の開催があり、多くのライダーが楽しんでいました。しかし、バブル崩壊の影響もあり、1990年を最後に、全国的なイベント開催は中止となりました。その発表を1990年11月に知った代表は、参加者の立場の弱さを反省して、「参加者が自らの手で楽しむ場を作るべき」と考えて、翌年の 1991年1月、GRA 最初のイベントを カワサキの明石本社工場内の専用コースで開催したのです。そういう意味で、この動画は、代表が純粋に一人のジムカーナライダーとして楽しめていた最後の頃でした。

Kawasaki also sponsored gymkhana events nationwide, supporting its dealerships. Naturally, events were held several times a year in the Kansai region, including Akashi City, where the company's headquarters and factory are located, and Osaka, where many riders enjoyed the event. However, due to the effects of the collapse of the bubble economy, the final national event was canceled in 1990. Upon hearing this announcement in November 1990, CEO Kobayashi reflected on the participants' vulnerable position and decided to create a place where participants could enjoy themselves. The following year, in January 1991, he held GRA's first event on a dedicated course at Kawasaki's Akashi headquarters and factory. In that sense, this video marks the last time he was able to enjoy gymkhana purely as a rider.

GRA代表・小林、“こばジム” で、白バイでの走行動画

   
GRA代表、小林が作る、過去の動画の紹介シリーズです。
   
今回は、GRAを発足させる以前、鈴鹿サーキットの教育施設で行なったイベントの動画です。
鈴鹿サーキットの交通教育センターが通常行なっている教習コースをまるまる借り切って、一泊二日で行なうトレーニング合宿を企画して、参加者も集めて行なっていたイベントで、その名も “こばジム” でした。

      
参加者の連帯は強く、そのライディングスキルのレベルも高く、自然にトレーニングメニューもハ＾ド気味になり、一部では 「お尻の皮がムケる」とまで言われていた様です。
  
この “ こばジム ” は、GRA が誕生してからは “ 鈴鹿合宿 ” と名称を替え、交通教育センターさんとも随分長い付き合いをさせて戴きました。

ちなみに、小林代表のゼッケンは 22 で、使用車両は白バイ（本物）です。
