『メニューボタン』変更進行中です / Menu Button Change Planned

公式Webサイトでは、記事の視認性と操作性を高め、英語表示も加えて、より多くの人が利用しやすくする為のサイトの改良を順次進めていますが、今回は、【イベント記録】ページの『メニューボタン』のデザイン変更を進めています。

On our official website, we are continuously improving the site to make it more user-friendly by enhancing the readability and usability of articles and adding English language support. This time, we are redesigning the menu button on the [Event Records] page.

この【イベント記録】ページは、過去に開催してきたイベント毎に、「参加者一覧」や「タイムスケジュール」、「コース図」や「リザルト」の他に、当日の動画も一つのページから確認できる、大変に資料性の高いページです。その上、【イベント記録】ページは 500ページを超えていて Webサイトで最も多いページの一つですから、閲覧者も多く、きっとボタン変更は多くの人に歓迎されると信じています。

This [Event Records] page is an extremely valuable resource, allowing users to view participant lists, time schedules, course maps, results, and even videos from past events all on one page. Furthermore, with over 500 pages, the [Event Records] page is one of the most extensive pages on the website, attracting many visitors. We believe the button change will be welcomed by many.

変更処理は順次進めていく予定ですが、1997年開催のジムカーナパーティ『ジャングルジムカーナ』の【イベント記録】ページを試験的に変更を済ませていますので、是非、その変更の効果をご確認下さい。

While we plan to implement the changes gradually, we have already completed a test run on the [Event Records] page for the 1997 gymkhana party, "Jungle Gymkhana." Please check it out to see the effect of the change.

整備イベント企画の詳細 / Details of the Maintenance Event

先日、「チェーンとスプロケットの交換」を記事解説する為に、その作業の映像と画像撮影を行なう『整備イベント企画』の発表を行ない、関心のある方からの要望を募集してきました。そして、それらの要望や提案も参考に、イベント企画内容の詳細がまとまりましたのでご覧ください。

Recently, we announced a maintenance event to film and photograph the process of "chain and sprocket replacement" for an article we're writing. We've been soliciting requests from interested individuals, and based on those requests and suggestions, we've finalized the details of the event. Please see below.

チェーンとスプロケットの交換の作業は、決して難易度の高い作業ではありません。しかし、【最適なチェーンの “遊び”調整】や【ホイールベアリングの確認と給脂】、【前後ホイールの整列】など、同時に行なう事でオートバイの寿命を延ばし、乗り易さを向上させるなど大きな効果が生まれます。イベント企画では、それらの点についての解説を行ないますので、どうぞ、関心のある方はご期待下さい。

Replacing a chain and sprocket isn't a particularly difficult task. However, performing these steps simultaneously—such as adjusting the chain's "slack" to the optimal setting, checking and lubricating the wheel bearings, and aligning the front and rear wheels—significantly extends the lifespan of your motorcycle and improves rideability. The event will cover these points, so please look forward to it if you're interested.

撮影イベントは、動画と画像の撮影内容が多い為、3日間に分けて行なう見込みです。
Due to the large amount of video and image footage required, the filming event is expected to be spread over three days.

1997年『鈴鹿合宿』動画掲載しました / Video of 1997 "Suzuka Training Camp" posted

1997年12月に、鈴鹿サーキット・交通教育センターの設備を使い、運転技術向上を目的に独自カリキュラムで開催したイベントの映像を掲載しました。コース図やリザルトも掲載していますので、当日参加した人は勿論の事、関心のある人は是非ご覧ください。

This video shows footage from an event held in December 1997 using the facilities of the Suzuka Circuit Traffic Education Center, with a unique curriculum aimed at improving driving skills. The course map and results are also included, so please take a look if you participated or are interested.

ペンスキーのリアサスペンションユニットがオーバーホールから戻ってきましたので、早速に箱を開けてみました。次回、このユニットを装着する撮影イベント『整備イベント』の主役を紹介します。

The Penske rear suspension unit has returned from overhaul, so I immediately opened the box. Next time, I'll introduce the star of the "maintenance event," a photo shoot where this unit will be installed.

交通公園の利用がありました / Traffic Park in Use

本日（5/17）、2024年春から路面清掃を行なっている赤穂市の交通公園を、親子連れと思われる三人の方が自転車3台で訪れて、自転車の練習をしてくれました。

Today (May 17th), a family of three, riding three bicycles, visited the Akaho City Traffic Park, where road cleaning has been carried out since spring 2024, and practiced riding bicycles.

年齢が4-5歳前後と思われる二人の子供達は、大人の男性が乗る自転車と一緒に元気よく走っていました。しかし、その元気さが過ぎたのか、ちょっとした失敗をして小さな泣き声が出ましたが、だからこそ、この交通公園で練習をした価値がありました。安全な環境で小さな失敗を体験できるからこそ、自動車などが走っている一般の道路で安全な乗り方が出来るのです。だから、この交通公園をもっと多くの子供達に使って欲しいと願っています。その為にも、路面清掃を進めて、もっと安全な練習環境へと整えていきます。

Two children, who appeared to be around 4-5 years old, rode energetically alongside an adult man on a bicycle. However, perhaps their enthusiasm was a little too much, as they made a small mistake and let out a small cry. But that's precisely why practicing at this traffic park was worthwhile. Experiencing small mistakes in a safe environment is what allows children to ride safely on public roads where cars and other vehicles are present. Therefore, we hope that more children will use this traffic park. To that end, we will continue road cleaning to create an even safer practice environment.

交通公園の利用がありました / Traffic Park in Use

本日（5/8）、2024年春から路面清掃を行なっている赤穂市の交通公園で、2人のツーリング中のライダーが、ぶらりと立ち寄って、練習をしてくれました。

Today( May 8th), at the traffic park in Ako City, where we've been cleaning the roads since spring 2024, two motorcyclists on a touring trip stopped by and practiced their riding skills.

オートバイは、自動車とは違って、身を守る為には運転技術がとても大切です。しかし、その運転技術を磨く為の機会は全く不足しています。だから、この交通公園の存在はとても重要なのです。自転車も含めて、多くの人の安全を守る機会を増やす為に、路面の清掃を進めて、今日の彼らの様に、いつでも期待に応えられる様にしていきます。

Unlike cars, motorcycles require excellent riding skills to ensure safety. However, opportunities to hone those skills are severely lacking. That's why this traffic park is so important. To increase opportunities to protect the safety of many people, including cyclists, we will continue to clean the roads so that we can always meet expectations, just like they did today.
