GRAは、支援法人です。
1991年の設立から25年以上、ライダーへの支援を続けています。

レッスンやセミナーを開催して、ライディング技術向上の機会や知識を届けています。また、質問を受ければ、詳しい回答を届けて疑問の解消の手助けをしています。さらに、イベントの出張開催の要請にも応える等、『いつまでも、楽しく、安全な オートバイライフの実現』を目指した支援を行なっています。

GRA is here to support riders.
Since our founding in 1991, we’ve spent more than 25 years helping riders grow.
Through lessons and seminars, we share skills and knowledge that make riding safer and more enjoyable. We also answer technical questions in detail and host on‑site events whenever requested — all to make riding fun, safe, and enjoy a motorcicling life for years to come.

運営スタッフは常に最小限ですが、支援のお陰で大きく活動しています。

運営専属スタッフを配置せず100名を超えるイベントの開催や、沖縄から北海道までの全国各地で年間 40回を超えるイベント開催が出来たのは支援のお陰です。また、経理の管理や機材の保管管理、タイム集計用システムの作成やNPO法人化が実現したのも、公式Webサイトや集計データ、動画などもすべて支援のお陰です。

GRA is powered by support.
Our team is minimal, but the support we receive makes big things possible.
Thanks to that support, we’ve hosted events with over 100 participants and held more than 40 events a year across Japan — from Okinawa to Hokkaido. Even our accounting, equipment management, timing systems, NPO certification, website, and video content exist because of the help we’ve received.

交通公園の利用がありました / Traffic Park in Use

本日（3/22）、一昨年から路面清掃を行なっている、赤穂市の交通公園を二人で利用されているのを見掛けました。きっと、オートバイの練習をされていたと思いますが、とても良い光景です。

Today (March 22nd), I saw two people using the traffic park in Ako City, where we've been doing road cleaning since the year before last. They were probably practicing riding their motorcycles, and it was a wonderful sight.

多くの人にとって、オートバイの練習ができる環境が殆ど無い中、こうして、安全に気兼ねなく練習されている光景を見るのは、羨ましい程に良い光景です。お陰で、路面清掃の意欲がまた湧いてきました。昨年よりも更に安全に練習が出来る様にしていきます。

For many people, there are hardly any places where they can practice riding motorcycles, so seeing them practicing safely and without hesitation like this is an enviable sight. It has rekindled my motivation for road cleaning. I will strive to make the park even safer for practice than last year.

書籍「みんなのモーターサイクル工学講座」/ Book: "Everyone's Motorcycle Engineering Course"

興味深い書籍を知りましたので、ここに紹介します。
I came across an interesting book and wanted to share it here.

書籍名は「みんなのモーターサイクル工学講座」で、“目次” や “サンプルページ” を確認する限りでは、「グリップとは」とか「サスペンションの役割」など、多くのライダーにとって関心が高い事柄が、工学的に適切に、分かり易く記述されています。その為、ともすれば、感覚的に語られたり商業的にイメージづけられているオートバイの解説ではなく、オートバイを正しく理解したいと願っているライダーに最適な書籍の一つになると思います。しかも、難解な数式を入れた “もっともらしい”解説ではなく、馴染みやすいイラストが多くちりばめているので、数式アレルギーな人にも、オートバイを工学的に正しく理解する大きな助けになると思います。

The book is titled "Everyone's Motorcycle Engineering Course," and judging from the table of contents and sample pages, it covers topics of great interest to many riders, such as "What is grip?" and "The role of suspension," in an engineeringly sound and easy-to-understand manner. Therefore, it's an excellent book for riders who want to understand motorcycles correctly, rather than relying on subjective or commercially-driven explanations. Furthermore, instead of complex mathematical formulas and overly plausible explanations, it's filled with easy-to-understand illustrations, making it a great help for those who are averse to mathematical formulas in understanding motorcycles from an engineering perspective.

2026 GRAミーティング 報告（2）/ Report on the 2026 GRA Meeting – Part 2

ミーティングの場に寄せられた「意見」と、ミーティングで検討した後での「回答」の一覧を掲載しました。「意見」のお陰で、今後の活動の方向がより明確になりました。

We have posted a list of the "opinions" received at the meeting and the "responses" that were given after the meeting. Thanks to these "opinions," the direction of our future activities has become much clearer.

2026 GRAミーティング 報告（1）/ Report on the 2026 GRA Meeting – Part 1

先日（3/8） 2026 GRAミーティング を開催して、無事に終了した事を報告します。
毎年、ミーティングの開催時期は、様々な意見や励ましが届く時期となり、緊張と共に活動を見直す良い機会になっていますが、今年も良い成果を得る事が出来ました。

I'm pleased to report that the 2026 GRA Meeting was successfully held on March 8.
Every year, this period brings us a variety of opinions and words of encouragement, which always make us reflect on our activities with a healthy sense of tension. This year was no exception, and we were able to achieve meaningful results once again.

それは、ミーティングに向けて届けられた「意見」の検討から決定した方針で、今までも公開している『活動目標』とは別に、『基本的な考え方』も前面で公開して活動していく事が決まったのです。この『基本的な考え方』とは、「2026年度活動予定」で示した通り、下記の内容になります。

One of the key outcomes was the decision to publicly share not only our existing “Activity Goals,” but also our newly defined “Basic Principles,” which were shaped through the review of the feedback we received ahead of the meeting. As outlined in the “2026 Activity Plan,” these principles are as follows.

この「基本的な考え方」に書かれている『したい事は、したい人が、すると良い』とは、何かを実現したい人は、他者に依存せず、自らが行動を起こせば、最終的に一番良い結果が生まれるという事です。実際、1990年末、代表・小林がGRAを設立する事を決めた時もそうでした。代表自身が「したい事」を、他者に頼る事なく、自らの手で可能な事を、一歩一歩、進めた結果、多くの様々な支援に恵まれて、現在の活動に繋がっている経験があるからこそ、この「基本的な考え方」を発信する事によって、GRAの活動の実態を知ってもらえるだけでなく、「したい事」を抱えている人の参考になる筈だと考えています。

At the core of these principles is the idea that “those who want to do something should be the ones to take action.” In other words, when someone wishes to achieve something, the best results ultimately come from taking initiative rather than relying on others. This was true when our representative, Kobayashi, decided to establish GRA in the late 1990s. By steadily taking one step at a time without depending on others, he eventually gained broad support, which led to the activities we have today. We believe that sharing these principles will not only help people better understand what GRA truly is, but also serve as guidance for anyone who has something they want to pursue.

と言うのも、GRAでは、「したい人」が「したい事」を実現させやすい運営システムになっているからです。実際、GRAで運営に携わっている常任のメンバーは、設立以来、ごく僅かですが、「したい事」を自発的に進めた結果、それに共感する数多くの人々が現れて、それぞれが自ら「したい事」を自身の判断で行なう支援をしてくれたのです。そのお陰で、沖縄から北海道までの全国各地を転戦するシリーズ戦など、年間 40回以上のイベント開催が実現するなどの多彩な実績があるからです。これは、恐らく、多人数が集まって会議で決めていく通常の方式では実現しなかった筈です。そういう意味で、「したい事」がある人にとっては、それを実現させる良い参考例になると思いますし、それが『活動目標』で掲げている「良いオートバイライフ環境を、みずから作り勧める人の育成」にも繋がると強く信じています。

This belief is rooted in the fact that GRA’s operating system is designed to make it easier for motivated individuals to realize what they want to do. Since our founding, the number of core members involved in operations has remained small, yet their self‑driven actions have attracted many supporters who resonated with their efforts. Thanks to this, we have achieved a wide range of results, including hosting more than 40 events annually and organizing nationwide series races from Okinawa to Hokkaido. These achievements would likely have been impossible under a conventional, large‑group decision‑making structure.

For anyone with a goal they want to pursue, we hope this serves as a valuable example. And we firmly believe it aligns with our Activity Goal of “fostering individuals who take initiative in creating a better motorcycling environment.”

GRA launched the Gymkhana Grand Prix in 1995, competing for points across Japan. This video shows the Hiroshima GP, held in 1997, three years after the event. We hope you enjoy the atmosphere of the Gymkhana Grand Prix from back then.
