Google Analytics GA4 導入完了 / Introducing Google Analytics GA4

Google Analytics とは、Google 社が提供しているサービスの一つで、Webサイトへのアクセス解析を詳細に行なえるシステムで、GRAでは 以前から利用していましたが、この度、最新版の GA4 の導入を完了しました。 その結果、GRAの公式Webサイトへのアクセス状況がサイトページ毎に確認ができる様になりました。

導入の為には、私達が作成したサイトページ毎に 与えられたコードを書き入れて、その後でサーバーにアップロードする必要があるのですが、約2500ページのサイトページで、記入漏れやアップロード漏れが起きない様に、慎重に 36時間ほど掛けて、先程、ようやく完了しました。そこで、その解析結果の一部を以下の通り紹介します。ごく短時間の間のアクセス解析結果ですが、時間帯の関係か、米国からのアクセスの割合が大きい事が判ります。

Google Analytics is a service provided by Google that allows for detailed analysis of website access. GRA has been using it for some time, and we have now completed the implementation of the latest version, GA4. As a result, we are now able to check access status for each page of GRA's official website.

To implement the system, we had to enter the provided code into each of our site pages and then upload them to the server. It took us about 36 hours to carefully complete the process for approximately 2,500 site pages, ensuring no data was left out or omitted from the upload. Below are some of the analysis results. While these are from a very short period of time, we can see that the proportion of accesses from the United States is high, perhaps due to the time of day.
    


Google が GA4 を新しく開発した理由と GRA への影響について述べておきます。
GA4 と呼ばれる新しい解析サービスが導入された理由は、Webサイトを視聴する人々のプライバシー保護が 米国や欧州で強く求められる様になり、Google が過去に提供していた 解析サービスではその規制に抵触する事になった為です。そこで、欧州の規制・GDPR や 米国の規制・CCPA などにも抵触をしない解析サービスとして GA4 が提供される様になったのです。

GRAは、GA4 以前のサービス UA を長年利用していましたが、GA4 の利用可能期限である 2023年7月 までに GA4 への移行を試みていました。しかし、当時の Google が提供していた 以降ガイド には 難しい専門用語が数多くあった事と、丁度、事務局移転の為に奔走し心不全で入院した事もあり、丸2年以上 解析をあきらめていました。 ただ、AI のサービスが充実して、GA4 導入に必要な的確なアドバイスも得られたので、ようやく導入できました。

しかし、GA4 による不具合もあります。それは、GRA が利用している ブログの解析が難しくなった事です。以前ならば、プロバイダーから提供されたブログサイトの URL だけを登録するだけで解析が可能でしたが、GA4 では サイトページ毎に 指定コードの記入が必要で、特別な場合を除いて、過去から積み重ねてきたページ全てにそれを行なう事は困難な為、現在利用している 10サイト以上のブログサイトの解析は難しい状況です。だから、当面は、GRA の公式Webサイトの解析に専念していきます。

Here, we will explain why Google developed GA4 and its impact on GRA.
The new analytics service, GA4, was introduced due to growing demands in the United States and Europe for the protection of website visitors' privacy, which resulted in Google's previous analytics service violating those regulations. GA4 was therefore offered as an analytics service that does not violate European regulations such as GDPR and US regulations such as CCPA.

GRA had been using UA, the service prior to GA4, for many years and was attempting to migrate to GA4 before its expiration date in July 2023. However, the Google guide provided at the time contained many difficult technical terms, and I was hospitalized with heart failure while busy relocating my office. For over two years, we gave up on analytics. However, with the development of AI services and the accurate advice we received, we were finally able to implement GA4.

However, GA4 did have some drawbacks. It made analyzing the blogs GRA uses difficult. Previously, analysis was possible simply by registering the blog site URL provided by the provider, but with GA4, a specific code must be entered for each site page, and except in special cases, it is difficult to do this for all pages accumulated over time, so it is currently difficult to analyze the 15 or more blog sites. Therefore, for the time being, we will focus on analyzing the official GRA website.
