夢に出てきた少年 / The Boy in my Dream

昨日の朝、夢を見ました。少し変わった少年が出てきた夢でした。
どんなメッセージなのか判りませんが、僕の生活スタイルは変わりました。

Yesterday morning, I had a dream. A slightly unusual boy appeared in the dream.
I don't know what the message was, but my lifestyle has changed.

昨日は、トライアンフの車検の日でした。車両の整備と確認走行を済ませ、書類も整えていました。けれど、前日の夕方から、心臓の発作が始まりました。だから、‘血栓’ を避ける為にベッドに入りました。予約日は雨の予報でした。でも、自走で車検に行く気持ちに変わりはありませんでした。

Yesterday was the day for my Triumph's inspection. I had finished the maintenance and prepared the paperwork, but the heart attack started the evening before. So I went to bed to avoid a 'blood clot'. Rain was forecast for the appointment day. But I still wanted to drive to the inspection by myself.

その少年は、ビルの 4階 にある事務所の前で、立っていた僕の左手を強く握ってきました。見た事がある様な色白の顔立ちで、じっと僕を見つめてきました。そして、少年に引っ張られる様にして、一緒に階段を下りて行きました。1階まで下りて、人込みの中で少年とはぐれた後、何故か、もう一度 4階まで上がりました。しかし、事務所は無くなり、別の店に代わっていました。

The boy held my left hand tightly as I stood on the fourth floor of the building where the office was. He had a pale face and stared at me. Then, the boy led me down the stairs. After going down to the first floor and getting separated from the boy in the crowd, for some reason I went up to the fourth floor again. However, the office was gone and had been replaced by another store.

12時間が経ち、発作はようやく収まりました。夜半から降り出した雨は、さらに強く降りそうな雰囲気でした。それから、4時間ほど ベッドで過ごし、予約のキャンセルの手配をしました。その日は、発作で残っている身体の影響を取り除く為に、終日、療養に努めました。
少年のメッセージの意味は判りませんが、以前までの僕だったら、間違いなく車検に向かっていたでしょう。僕の生活スタイルは変わりましたが、悔いはありません。必ず、より良い人生に変わっていくと信じています。
　　
After 12 hours, the attack finally subsided. The rain that had started falling at midnight seemed to be getting stronger. After that, I spent about four hours in bed and arranged to cancel the appointment. I spent the whole day recuperating to remove the remaining physical effects of the attack.
I don't know what the boy's message meant, but if it were me before, I would definitely have gone to get my car inspected. My lifestyle has changed, but I have no regrets. I believe that my life will definitely change for the better.
