2年振り、トラ君と散歩 / First Walk with Tora-kun in Two Years

体調に余裕なく、乗る自信もなく、放置され続けたトラ君
車検更新を間近になり、扱い迷っていたトラ君
リハビリを期待して、散歩に連れ出しました

Due to my health, Tora-kun has been neglected.
I wasn't sure if I could continue to ride him.
Hoping for my own rehabilitation, I took him out for a walk.

トラ君を押して歩いていた時、「ツーリングですか？」 
近所の人から声を掛けられ、「いいえ、散歩です」と言いました
長く放置して、急に走らせるのは申し訳ないのです
身体のリハビリを兼ねて、一緒に歩きたかったのです
それに、僕はツーリングにはほとんど興味ありません

When I was walking with Tora-kun, a neighbor asked me,
'Are you going touring? I replied, 'No, I'm just taking walk.'
I felt bad about letting him run suddenly after neglect.
I wanted to walk together as part of my rehabilitation.
Besides, I'm not really interested in touring at all.

自宅から 500ｍ余りで、海があります
小さいけど、それなりに観光地っぽい所です
トラ君にとっては、初めて見る海です
神戸や大阪の海よりも、ずっと綺麗に見えます

There is an ocean about 500 meters from my home.
This place is small but a tourist spot.
For Tora-kun, this is the sea he's seeing for the first time.
It looks much prettier than the seas of Kobe and Osaka.

久し振りに走らせると、やっぱり、恐いですね
競技用に仕上げているので、スパルタンです
以前は、これを毎日の様に乗り込んでいました
今は、それに近づくのが目標です
ひとつ、目標が増えました

When I let him run after a long time, he's still scarly.
He is finely tuned for competition, so he is like a Spartan.
In the past, I used to ride him almost every day.
Now, my goal is to get close to that again.
I have one more goal added.
